If you are not able to find out the user manual of your router, you can find it on the official website of the company.

Locate the IP address with TCP/IP software

This software helps you to configure your IP address. To run this software, just open the command prompt window and type ipconfig, you will see that ip address will be listing under the default gateway.

  • To get started in the windows, first you need to press the Windows key plus the "R" key at the same time to "Run" dialog box. After that, just Type in "cmd" in the command window, and type the "ipconfig" followed by the "Enter" key which shows the router's IP address.
  • If you are using a Mac, first move to the "Application" menu and go on the "Utilities" section to move forward in the process. Next in the process, just you need to click on the "Terminal." Now you are required to Type "ipconfig" followed by the "Return" key to display various IP data.
  • For the Linux OS , first you need to open the Terminal by typing "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "T" on your keyboard at the same time. Inside the command prompt, just type the "sudo ifconfig" command to fetch the results or the information you required.
